About Urocare Hospital
Established in 1993, Urocare Kidney Super Specialty Hospital was conceived with the vision of delivering exceptional urology services in the private sector within the city of Rajkot. Dr. Jitendra Amlani, the founder, is a globally recognized urologist who has successfully treated a substantial number of patients in both India and abroad.

In pursuit of realising the aspiration to offer high-quality super specialty services under one roof with cutting-edge technology and facilities, all four doctors collectively decided to reopen Urocare Kidney Super Specialty Hospital in 2023.
Urocare Hospital, spanning across four floors in an independent building, boasts a total of 20 beds and covers an area of approximately 15,000 sq.ft. The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities in the field of urology, featuring a top-notch Lithotripsy machine (Dornier with integrated Sonography), leading surgical lasers (Thulium and Holmium), and three state-of-the-art operation theatres.
Urocare takes pride in being among the pioneering hospitals to adopt 3D Laparoscopy technology and houses Sterrad, an advanced Terminal Sterilisation technology, minimising workflow interruptions, enhancing efficiency, and reducing human error. Additionally, we provide a Day Care Unit catering to patients requiring brief stays for observation and recovery.
All four doctors serve as full-time consultants, offering their expertise at Urocare Hospital. The facility includes a state-of-the-art Modular Operation Theatre and a fully equipped backup Surgical High Dependency Unit (HDU) to attend to high-risk urology patients.
Moreover, Urocare Hospital offers in-house investigative modalities such as Pathology Services and Radiology Services (X-Ray & Sonography). The hospital is also equipped with a Urodynamics machine to evaluate patients with Neurogenic Bladder and Incontinence.

Dr. Jitendra Amlani, a renowned senior urologist from Saurashtra and Gujarat, brings over 30 years of dedicated service to the field. His extensive expertise is complemented by state-of-the-art facilities, making him part of the largest urology team in Saurashtra and Kutch. Dr. Amlani has established a super-specialty kidney hospital, equipped with modern amenities, emphasizing his commitment to advancing urological care.
A recipient of the Gold Medal for his M.Ch. in Urology, Dr. Amlani holds the distinction of being the first rank holder with Gold Medal from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. His international experience includes fellowships at WCE, Cleveland Clinic, USA, and Long Island Jewish Hospital, USA, contributing to numerous research papers in national and international forums.
Dr. Jitendra Amlani's commitment extends beyond medical practice. He has conducted over 100 free camps nationwide, providing essential urological services to those in need. Honored with the 'Service Gold Medal' by the Urological Society of India (West Zone), Dr. Amlani also serves as the Chairman of the World Endourology Association.
His humanitarian efforts include performing free surgeries and healthcare services for Iraqi children, earning him recognition from national and international organizations. Dr. Amlani's work embodies the spirit of service and compassion, reflecting India's cultural ethos globally. Dr. Jigen Gohel, an accomplished medical professional, pursued his M.B.B.S. and M.S. (General Surgery) from the esteemed M.P. Shah Medical College in Jamnagar. Subsequently, he furthered his studies with a D.N.B. in Urology from the Kerala Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Trivandrum.
Dr. Gohel has garnered extensive experience through his service at renowned institutions, including M.P. Shah Medical College in Jamnagar, PDY Medical College in Rajkot, and Civil Hospital. His dedication to urology is evident from receiving the first prize at SZUSICON 2017, organized by the South Zone Urological Society of India, during his tenure at Trivandrum.
